¿What is Relatos?
Relatos is the new experiential wing of the Escuela de Gastronomía Mexicana (ESGAMEX), an institution with more than 30 years of legacy dedicated to researching, protecting, and disseminating Mexico’s culinary heritage like no other. This project is a living tribute to those traditions. It is designed for food lovers who seek more than just a dish: but a deep connection with the history, culture, and flavors that define us as a nation.
Or, as we like to say: “We share the stories of what we eat and how we eat it,” revealing the secrets that make our cuisine an expression of identity and pride.
Developed by gastronomic researchers, historians, anthropologists, and expert cooks, each activity is far more than a tour or just another culinary experience. It is a sensory and emotional journey—an adventure that awakens the senses, nourishes the soul, and tells the living story of Mexican cuisine.
